As a stay-at-home mom, you have the unique requirement of filling many roles at once, and it’s expected of you by society and yourself alike. Between self-care, devoting time to each family member, feeding, cleaning, and maintaining the family schedule, how on earth are you supposed to find the balance required to manage all that PLUS run a business?

The thing that keeps me going, feeling joy and purpose through the struggles of my day, is the realization that my creative business allows me to be a better mom, and knowing I’ve got these sweet kiddos to attend to ensures that I’m running my business as purposefully as possible. It’s actually a win-win in my book to be given the opportunity to do both!

I love that my business allows me to connect with others in a similar situation — moms with a creative passion and an entrepreneurial drive. I also love that it provides a reason for me to get up early and spend some time alone before the chaos of the day.

More often than not, my business is the reason I’m keeping the kids on a schedule and getting ready for the day. Even though it adds one more thing to keep track of (which we, as mamas, usually try to avoid), I feel like my business is a critical component of my “balanced plate”. It’s the portion-divided kiddie plate that allows our family to operate without the yuckies touching the yummies. It keeps me sane, promotes my own personal development, and benefits my family through the increased income, all in one.

If you’re here, making time for this course between homemade Halloween costumes, sensory bin messes, and late-night feedings, then you’re well on your way to striking that balance between full-time mom and full-time you, because your creative business is what’s going to get you there.

It’s okay to want this. It’s okay to strive for big financial, personal, or creative goals, and you don’t have to sacrifice your role as a mother to be successful.

There is beauty that comes from creating something that’s your own, and the self-confidence that comes from adding the role of Entrepreneur to your daily routine is one that can change your life.

This section will teach you how to operate with intention, how to organize your mind, family, home, and business in a sustainable way, and how they all correlate together. Having a strong foundation means you have something to refer to or fall back on if you get out of balance in any of these areas of your life.
